Master in Physiotherapy (MPT)

The course covers the basic services of physiotherapy and all the current areas of interest in physiotherapy including orthopaedic, neurological and cardiothoracic physiotherapy concepts. The course equips the students with current concepts and practices in this rapidly advancing branch of allied health.

Course Fees
Course fee Rs. 13,825/- Per Semester which has to be paid in three instalments as per the following schedule:
(a) At the time of Admission - Rs. 7,825/- | (b) 2nd Instalment by - Rs. 3,000/- 15th October 2004
(c) 3rd Instalment by - Rs. 3,000/- 30th November 2004

• AAI-DU being a State Govt. funded/aided Deemed University, has sought and acquired NOC/permission of the State Government of U.P. to start Distance Education Programme, vide G.O. No. 1630/12-2002-900(9/) 2001 dated Feb. 2002.

• Allahabad Agricultural Institute was established in 1910. In 1911, the Agriculture and Technical Department of the College were shifted across the Jamuna River from Allahabad. In April 1913, the Agriculture and Technical Department were bifurcated from the Arts and Science Department of the Christian College.

• In order to obtain more academic freedom and to strengthen the specialized programme of teaching, research and extension, a proposal was submitted to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Govt. of India on 31 st August, 1994 for granting the Deemed University status to the institute. Later on 15 th and 16 th May 1997, a team of experts appointed by the University Grants Commission visited the institute. It was encouraging to learn about the report submitted by the visiting team to the commission that the institute has all the infrastructure and academic means for granting the deemed university status.
