Nand Kumar Singh Para-Medical College has been established at Patna, Bhagalpur, Jamshedpur & Dhanbad to provide world class para-medical and allied health services study, training & research in collaboration with Dr. Zakir Husain Institute, Patna, Indian Institute of Business Management, Patna, Indian Institute of Bio-Informatics & Bio-Technology, Bangalore. Due to growing demand in the areas of health care services, hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centres, physiotherapy clinics, rehabilitation & occupational therapy centres and other allied health units large number of trained & professional para-medical manpower are urgently required In India & abroad.

The IIBB-Patna has been established for the study & research in the areas of Bio-Sciences, Genetic Engineering, Bio-Informatics, Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, Sanitary Science, Food & Nutrition & Genome research. The institute is an authorised study centre of AAI- Deemed University, Allahabad Recognised by UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and the world famous Wageningen University, The Neetherlands and SMU University of Health, Medical & Technological Sciences, Gangtok.
